Absolute respect for being a Gurkha. To go from Gurkha and be a chosen 1 and stand out from the crowd to being a member of the SAS I salute you Sir!
My dad was a major in 6th Gurkha rifiles for 25 years. As was my grandfather. Very proud to have been able to call him dad. Rest in power dad.

These Gurkhas are some of the toughest soldiers on the planet( such a nice and humble guy) it was a pleasure listening to his testimony james !!!
Who doesn’t know the Gurkhas ?? The most humble and fiercest warriors in the world. 😊
with a huge amount of respect these fuckers are the real deal.
as a daughter of a soldier i am in awe of the service for our country i was brought up to look up to the gurkhas. i wish you love light and harmony for you and your family.xx
Anyone who’s in the army respects these guys& there warrior instinct
Cringe
Absolutely love the Gurkha's, one of our finest regiments.... And so grateful for there service.🇬🇧
The man is a true warrior!🇬🇧
This world needs more Krish Thapas in it, what a beautiful, honourable brave humble human. Thank you James great interview with Krish.
My grandad was in the paras and he said the best fighting machine was the Gurkhas they could tigh you shoe laces together without you even noticing and on top of that they were amazing human beings
My dad told me exactly the same
Ex-chosen one here. (Sounds funny that) many a time been in a trench with a Gurkha) Big respect, not cos of their soldiering, that too, but because of the conversations we’ve exchanged whilst being freezing cold, soaking wet in Brecon, or in some such other lands, discussing cultures and life, with chattering teeth, whilst being switched on to our job. Weird. Hard to explain.
And, also being an ex professional boxer, I completely resonate with the talk about men that are disciplined in some form of fighting skills… I’m teetotal now, but in the past, been in many a pub, with some lunatic wanting to exchange fisticuffs, for one reason or another… I’ve always, always declined… many a friend, at the time thought I was a coward… nope. Couldn’t be arsed to comply. Not cos I think I’m tough, not because of the fear of losing, or hurt, but because there is nothing ever to prove but you’re own dignity. And I have never given a shit about ego.
I wish our world was full of peace, love and knowledgeable warriors. Fuck me, I’m getting soft.
Enjoyed the podcast, thank you.
I’ve put ‘chosen one’ on here, on above message… dyslexic error. It was meant to say ‘Chosen man’ ie, ex RGJ and not SF.
@@jayprimmfilmsclips108 Thank you for your service Jay.
I remember when I was a cadet, we went away on our annual camp and we see in the distance of the camp around 20 Gurkhas , constantly running around this circuit with one of them on each others back, constantly rotating, they did not stop while we was sat down watching in awe for half hour. Never forgotten that day absolute warriors
This is what a real alpha acts like
James, congratulations selling out a live audience. I've been watching you for years. It's been great watch you go from strength to strength. 🇮🇪
My dad was in the grenadier guard’s back in the 1950’s,
(He’s 86 now).
He always drummed into me how good the Gurkhas were and how much respect he had for the Gurkha soldiers.
Anyhow this is going to be a massively interesting interview for me and my father, so thank you James for making it happen.
My dad was the local peeping Tom 😳
My grandparents brought me up to know about the Gurkhas and the gratitude and respect they deserve.
We would rather have the Gurkha's living here than the one's coming on boats. Best soldiers in the world yet, like ours, treated like dirt! Heroes all of them! Ask any veteran who he would have fighting with him!
👍. Absolutely
Nice to hear from proper man like this guy, instead of the plastic gangsters lying through their f#cking teeth most of the time 😂
I trained in Catterick with gurkhas well not with them as they have their own regiment...... But they are the most fearless individuals I have ever met similar to the fijians
My section commander in catterick was called roshan ghale he was a gurkha. They are such nice well mannered respectable people. Very disciplined soldiers too.
One of my properties was near where they were based in the UK, nothing but little gentleman , they would go into the local garage and was like yes sir no sir best mannered people I’ve ever encountered.
I was boxing and running at the time , they could come past you like you were stood still on 7 miles.
Really really nice people .
@@BullyBoxer nicest people ever but at the same time hard as hell also.
I always find this Gent the most fascinating and the Gurkhas in general. I feel so patriotic knowing they stand beside us 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Really enjoyed this episode this fella oozes honesty, a genuine top family man who I’m guessing was really well respected in the SAS.
Not once did he big himself up!
No bullshit or twisting stories if anything he skirted around the stories where he clearly was more involved.
Humble is the word 👍
I’m going to learn more about the Gurkhas
Thank you
Served with 1 Royal Gurkha Rifles 2010 Afghan. Truely humble wasrrior, small in stature huge in heart. It is a honour to have experienced this and stand with men
Thank you for your service James👍
These soldiers are amazing ❤
We need more good spirits like him he's a Ray of sunshine 🙏
Brilliant interview, total respect to him for his service 🥰 The Gurkhas are respected all over the world ❤
One of the best yet James. What a story and Krish is truly a warrior. Superb and could listen to lot's more from him
Worship the trees, grass and water ❤
Funny how most of the time the baddest dudes have the most calm and peaceful vibe
Real alpha males are like that, they know they have nothing to prove and don't have to put up an act to hide insecurities.
Essentially if someone calls themselves and alpha male they probably fucking aren't.
We can all learn alot from this podcast and Chris especially.
Well done James another great episode 👍
Very beautiful interview.
Ya gotta respect these guys for their philosopies belief's etc aswell as the obvious stuff.
That a real man thanks for your service.
I feel so grounded and relaxed after this podcast His outlook on living a life of service is inspiring ❤
Farmer here after working & travelling around the world and living in all the big cities. I am a Taoist so completely relate to his philosophy on animals & nature.
What a lovely guy. I think this is one of my favourite interviews so far.
My brother in law used to go to Catterick every year to run the PARA 10 , i used to be amazed at watching some proper athletes buckled as they crossed the line but the Ghurkas were crossing the line like they just started + carrying 35lb bergen on there backs absolute warriors 👍
What a gentleman I have great respect for people like him dedicate their lives to there family and others
The Nepalese people of very humble & kind hearted with bravery to match, I’ve just returned from Katmandhu, it’s a special place, really enjoyed this podcast, best of luck Kris, and thanks for your service 🙏🏽🇳🇵
Humble humble dude, love Krish, hes a top fella
wow, what a great guy and an inspiration to us all
Ghurkas are the absolute best people and the respect they have from the indiginous British public is off the scale.
Our government should feel the same as us.
Always had a lot of respect from my limited knowledge on these warriors! But this guy is another level well done James never fail to disappoint with your guests!
The gurkhas are the nicest guys you could wish to meet. They are discipned, respectful, hard working and loyal.
Great guest and interview. Krish really spoke to me with regard to emotional and spiritual health - I hope to improve in these areas.
Truly epic. Most bonnie and gentle mindset. 🤘
Gurkhas are a different breed, as loyal as they come and all round fantastic asset to the British forces.
I never even knew what a Gurkha was his interesting and educational loved this 😍😍
What amazing guest speakers you have had over the years Always a well loved channel
Respect to this powerhouse of a man.
Definitely more of this type of content. No bs. No glorified gangsta crap.
James, wasn’t expecting this mate. Cracking episode!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
My old grandad god rest him always said the Ghurkas were the finest soldiers.
Amazing watch thank you what a wonderful warrior soul
The thing I'm sure will never fail to amaze me with every Gurkha I have ever heard about/come across personally (countless stories giving nothing but credit & respect from My Grandad & his) - is their level of humility. And it appears they are no different as people today than their very own WW1 and WW2 Generations & those before. Given without doubt they are absolute warrior powerhouses, physical & mental strength next level, they somehow manage to retain such gentle natures & overall decency as a people. As Men. It's easy to get carried away with interviews from all those claiming to lived or living the supposed high life - those all about the fame, fortune, and all of the real grit - serious addiction & major crime "come back" stories - don't get me wrong, I watch them all & enjoy the majority - grittier the better if genuine and good can come from the stories (but even even those so blatantly full of shit are worth watching for the giggle) but the much rarer like this interview are the real gems..... pure gold, heartwarming and very grounding.
Let's face it, living life nowadays (in the West) seems all so geared toward or all about money/status/ego & so little about everything else that money can't buy & the morals & qualities & lifestyles that really do matter... Where are all the decent people, Nepal?!
We can be forgiven for thinking almost everyone supposedly "powerful" is corrupt & greed fuelled, but I find just as many average people are hellbent on having some sort of social media celeb type status when the reality is, alot of them (and that) is just fake & grotty.... I love James' honesty re the lack of respect both Women & Men seemingly have for themselves and for each other these days... truest story right there sadly (& as Our Generations go, they seem to be getting worse not better) Very long winded review lol but I'm touched & felt compelled to write as much; this was a beautiful interview - Thankyou xxx
He is such a myna really appreciated and respect from my bottom my heart. Big Big respect Sir l will meat you soon if l will get a chance. You are the true Gurkha l never seen like you l really inspired from you your hard-work mentality and Big Vision.Thank for sharing your story in 1:30 hrs video .

Great respect 😎👍🇬🇧
Amazing episode 👏 I could listen this this man all day , well done both
Gentle voice, heart of a lion.
We all must listen to this very wise man and live accordingly 💓
If you think for one moment that this is about the military then you are sadly mistaken ❤
What a wonderful child hood Krish Thapa had. It’s the simple things in life that matter. We in the West are becoming more toxic we are all trampling over each other in a race to be better and to have more and more. The older I become the more negativity I see. People are to eager to gossip and don’t care who they hurt, that type are never happier than when they are destroying another persons reputation. All is vanity and a striving after the wind. Each day has enough worries for that day. We need to get back to being satisfied with the simple things in life. Look out for each other be kind to each other. It takes less energy to be kind than it does to hate. Respect yourself and others.
Looking forward to this . Thanks 🙏
So much wisdom. Great episode!
The best best best yet love him ❤
❤️❤️
Very cool episode !! Really interesting and inspiring guest and well hosted !!
excellent-absolutely brilliant-proper inspiring
Wow what an amazing man brilliant interview as always James ❤
unreal this fella so humble
A very impressive man and individual. And not unusual for the Nepalese at all... One of Britians best examples of how immigration and being "multicultural" needs to progress. Anyone ever met a person from nepal they didn't like?.....
That a real man that respects a women
Wonderful person! Great story❤️

I bet this guy is one of the baddest mofos in any situation, super class
Aah yeah. Hes awesome ❤
my son inlaws grandfather left them everything in his will worked with them .
Mike English. Is that your new name?
Great interview! 👍
Apparently Gurkas, were warrior fighters, I hope they got well treated by English government.
Unfortunately they’re not, most gurkas don’t even get British citizenship after they leave the regiment
They were badly let down
I think the government has granted all serving ghurkas and their families British citizenship now, but unfortunately they were definitely not treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. for a long time and yes they are warriors and some of the most feared men in our enemies forces I
was lucky enough to be based on the same barracks as them and I would go to their curry nights.they are the type of guys you would want your kid to grow up as they treat everyone with respect and their manners are brilliant but cross them your best bet is ruuuuun 😂 .
@RossNaylor-uq4jp Aye think you may be correct because aye can remember Joanna Lumley kicking up a fluck about it years ago because she was either born in Nepal or India and couldn't believe it herself why they didn't have or get offered citizenship etc etc after serving in the UK forces 🤔
@@garybarr2023pretty sure her dad was a gurkha not 100% tho
That's why we say, " Mother Nature " not father. 👍
Another great podcast James well done! Special Forces ones are the best 🇬🇧 👏🏼
As a veteran, working alongside Gurkha's got to say that these guys are the toughest on the planet,
Real deal
What a top man..😉
Why don’t you Interview Gary Waterman? I asked many times…..
interview him yourself
I can’t believe through this whole interview why he was a SAS hero wasn’t mentioned 🤷🏼♂️
What a bloke
Eh what an episode this one was🎉
Such a great shame on the feeble cowardly UK politicians that despite the Gurkhas long service to the UK they had to fight for the right to remain in the UK after they retired. If it had not been for the Ab Fab Joanna Lumney lending her weight to the campaign they might well still be turfed out after they finished there service. A lot of new age numpties go on about oneness but this man really lived from that humility of regarding nature as sacred
Gurkhas are no joke, I’ve seen a bar brawl between ghurkas& paras in Aldershot, the wee ghurkas held there own
No u haven't why u lieing for
@@Antv-no1zn in the 80s and 90s early 2000, Aldershot was all army. The town had para pubs one of which was featured on Britain's hardest pubs TV series.
We would not go in the rat pit, or Trafalgar.
Witnessed many fights on a Thursdays night. squaddy night in town.
@@Krone64 yeah maybe so but judging by the dudes other comments he's like Jay of inbetweeners but bullshits more
Can you imagine the experiences that fella must have locked in his memory bank?
One of the biggest scandals in our country is not allowing these fine fighting men obtain British citizenship. They take an oath to lay their life on the line for King and country just like any other British soldier yet get less pay and have to jump through hurdles and red tape with no guarantee at the end. How f'cked up is that!! They've proved their loyalty time and time again and i'd take a thousand Gurkhas than 1 illegal immigrant any day. Than you for your service Krish Thapa and your fellow Gurkhas.
In the 2 2 guys think the fan dance is tough
In the Gurkhas they run up and down Mt Everest for the fun of it. Hardest men in the world.
Namaste daju 🙏
🔥🔥🔥
The gurkas are badass
❤❤
Superb story but you need to let the guest talk more and stop going on and on yourself
Get the real baby reindeer girl on next 👀👀
